When I started to take the pictures for this post, my plan was to only take pictures of Maya’s new doll, but I just couldn’t stop. You may remember that I bought a sewing machine a few weeks ago. My mom has been spending a lot of time at our house since then helping me our with my long list of craft ideas. I purchased a pattern from Bit of Whimsy Dolls and we got started on it right away. The truth is that my Mom made almost the entire doll. Buuut, we started on another last night and I am determined to soon be doll making on my own. Spending time with my Mom while creating things for my daughter has been so amazing. I’m super, crazy blessed to have such a wonderful mother. She and her Mom used to sew together. Now that my Grandma is gone, it make these times even more precious. We have several other projects underway, so stay tuned for those :)
