Call me Mrs. Crafty. I am so excited. My Grandmother and my Mother have been sewing for as long as I can remember. I wore dresses that my Grandma made for me from infancy. As the girly-girl that I was, I loved it when she made me “twirly” dresses. You know the ones that float all around you when you spin in circles. My friend’s mom tells me that whenever my Grandma made me a new dress, I would go over to their house to show off. I didn’t say I was humble. I love crafty things and I figured it was about time I learn to sew on my own. My first project is a doll for Maya. I got this super cute pattern from Bit of Whimsy Dolls. We will see how it goes. Hopefully you will be seeing a lot more of my craftiness very soon.
