Nine years ago today, I was bustling around with excitement and anticipation. It was my WEDDING day!!! I couldn’t stop smiling.
Our big day wasn’t without unexpected mishaps. Less than 30 minutes before the ceremony, Chris was standing in his underwear in the restroom while his ripped pants were being repaired. Things don’t always go the way we plan, but we found out quickly that we can walk through anything together.
Over the last nine years, we have traveled to over 10 countries, made a house into a home and then moved to another one, added 2 children in one year and then one more. Along the way, we’ve lost many of the people who were closest to us nine years ago and gained new friends we can’t imagine life without. We’ve built a life and one that I am deeply grateful to live with Chris by my side.
