our 2nd anniversary

Monday was our 2 year anniversary. To celebrate, Chris planned a whole weekend getaway for us in Austin. We have been wanting to go to the Ethiopian restaurant, but needed a good excuse to drive all that way. It was such a great weekend, relaxing and experiencing new, fun things together. Chris is an absolutely wonderful husband. He constantly surprises me with his generosity, love and patience towards me. I am excited to see him as a father. I know that I will fall more in love with him each year. Here are some pictures from our weekend :)

We stayed at a great little bed and breakfast, right off Congress. www.parklaneguesthouse.com The owner was so friendly and the breakfasts were amazing! The backyard of the guest house was super cute. We spent some time Friday afternoon just hanging out and reading.

Friday night we went to Taste of Ethiopia. We had an amazing time. The food was great and the people were even better. They were so informative and inviting. We even got hugs when we left. We will definitely be returning as often as possible. If you live in the Austin area, you should check it out right away.

I didn’t take the picture until after we had started devouring our food. Oops!! The living room of Park Lane on Saturday morning. Yes, I just posted a pictures of myself with rollers in my hair! Yay for a husband who can take pictures of me :) Good job baby. For lunch on Saturday we drove out to The Salt Lick in Driftwood. It was a pretty day, with great food, good music and BYOB :) Happy 2nd Anniversary my love. This is going to be our best year yet!
