i heart TOMS shoes

I can’t believe that I haven’t worn TOMS shoes before now. If you don’t know about TOMS, where are you been? Just kidding…According to their website: “TOMS Shoes was founded on a simple premise: With every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. One for One.”
I’ve been wanting a pair for quite a while, but just didn’t get around to buying them. Then I found out about my fellow adoptive mom, Michelle, and her shoe drive. She even has a discount code to save $5 off your TOMS on-line shoe order through the month of April (Enter the code ZION at the checkout). It was all the push I needed to get a new pair of shoes. Actually, two new pairs of shoes (some wedges and a classic black pair) and one for Chris. It took all my will power to not buy a pair for Maya too. When the package came yesterday, it was like Christmas. I cannot wait to wear these. I went a little overboard on the pictures, but they are just too awesome.
