It was exactly a year ago today that I became pregnant with this little beauty. August 10th at 10:45am. I know the exact date and time because I’d spent the previous 11 days injecting myself with fertility medication… After 18 unsuccessful months of trying (4 of those months working with a fertility specialist), Jeff and I figured we would probably “fail” again, but we tried to hold onto hope as we made the trip across town (yet again) to the doctor’s office for our 10:45am appointment. We didn’t know it yet, but our long infertility journey was about to be over.
I don’t know why our journey to have a family was such a difficult one. But I do know this… This little 3-month-old was worth every injection… every appointment… and Every. Single. Tear. Ellie is THREE MONTHS OLD, you guys!! When did that happen?? I wish I could describe the warm fuzzies that these photos give me. This girl… she is everything. -Kaylinn
