Anna + Brad {Chandelier of Gruene Wedding Ceremony & Wedding Reception, New Braunfels TX}

We have been dying to photograph a wedding at The Chandelier of Gruene since it opened. It was everything we dreamed of and more. From the huge, gorgeous oak trees to the sweet details of the little white wedding chapel, it was perfect setting for Anna and Brad to celebrate their love and promise forever to each other. After weeks of gloomy weather, the sun shined brightly all day and the springtime breeze was just enough to keep us cool.

Sometimes before we’ve even met, our clients share with us the stories of their love and their journey to find each other. Hearing love stories is one of the best things about being a wedding photographer. Anna and Brad met when he sat next to her during their training at USAA. He was smitten then and he was over the top thrilled to be marrying Anna. I have seen lots of grinning grooms, but Brad’s joy was overflowing. Several times throughout the day I burst into giggles just watching him love her. He could not get enough snuggles or tell her (and everyone else) how stunning she is.

My favorite part of the day was witnessing Brad’s adoration of Anna. His reaction during their first look was EVERYTHING. After he gasped, his first words were, “I wish all these people weren’t here!” He wanted her all to himself! Haha! First looks are such a beautiful thing to witness. A couple’s nervous anticipation instantly melt away when they see each other and the fun begins.
