trip to grandma’s (part 1)

When Chris and I got married in January most of my Mom’s family couldn’t make it all the way down to San Antonio. I wanted Chris to see where my Mom comes from and where I made happy childhood memories, so we got on a plane and headed to Hanover, Pennsylvania to visit my Grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
I have tons of photos from the trip, so there will probably be several blog posts to cover it all. These photos are from our first full day in PA, we took a little road trip through the countryside to go shopping in Lancaster, PA. Enjoy!

PAtrip1009--1001There are little stands like this all over with all kinds of fresh produce. I didn’t see anyone watching them.

PAtrip1009--1003 The little produce stands work on the honor system. Take what you want and leave the money in the box!

PAtrip1009--1109We stopped at this farmer’s market/antique store. So much cool stuff!!

This was the coolest thing we saw that day. Amish farmers harvesting their corn. Doesn’t it look like something from a movie? Great costumes : )

Marisa - Is that a new hair cut? Cute!

Monica - It looks like you all had great time!!!!
