Susie + Nick {Sisterdale Dancehall Wedding Ceremony & Reception, Boerne TX}

You guys may remember Susie + Nick’s downtown San Antonio engagement session from a few months back (who could forget their adorable pup, Sadie?) For their wedding, they took a break from the big city and headed to Sisterdale Dancehall in Boerne, Texas. Sisterdale Dancehall weddings are some of our favorites. It’s a laid back venue with sooo much Texas charm. Complete a rustic dancehall (AKA the “Opera House”), a cute covered porch with a red swing, and a bridal suite packed full of little antique details. :-) We love every Texan detail. It was the perfect backdrop for Susie + Nick’s big day.

As much as we love Sisterdale Dance Hall, we love Susie + Nick even more. These two are super adorable and so in love (which makes them so much fun to photograph!) Here are our favorite images from their wedding. Enjoy!

Susie and Nick wanted to get to their cocktail hour as quickly as possible, so they decided to see each other before the ceremony. We were able to take all of the “must have” portraits beforehand, so they were able to mingle with guests immediately after they tied the knot (instead of taking lots of photos!) We love first looks! It’s such a sweet, intimate moment between the bride and groom where they can have a few minutes of alone time and calm their nerves. :-) The photos above are a few shots from the moment Nick and Susie first saw each other.
