Paul + Kelly Part I {Hotel Emma Engagement Photos, San Antonio TX}

My goal as a wedding photographer is to capture my client’s relationship, the little things that make their love unique. The look she gives him, the way he holds her hand, the places that are special to them. This session was all of that, and so good for my photographer heart. Paul and Kelly are so deeply and obviously in love that they make my job easy. Snuggling, giggling, holding hands. I think most of the time they forgot I was there :) Top that off with the GORGEOUS Hotel Emma and I was in heaven (Oh, how we LOVE the Hotel Emma!). I had so many favorites from Paul and Kelly’s session that I had to break it up into TWO blog posts. I’ve never had to do that before, but man… these images are just too good. Get to know Paul and Kelly, in their own words…

Paul’s favorite things about Kelly:
Kelly is easy to love. The love we share has been effortless for both of us since day one. I’ve had only one wish in life and that is to be loved as much as I love, and Kelly is the one. I love her because we just fit together. We are genuinely in sync and are the perfect compliment to one another. Besides her obvious beauty, it is matched by her spark. She is the bright star in everyday life. She’s fun, exciting and smart. She is passionate, loving and determined. I am blessed and extremely lucky. I am definitely marrying up!

Kelly’s favorite things about Paul:
Paul is thoughtful, generous, romantic and selfless. He is always putting others first and is last to complain. He’s a great daddy to his boys and very generous and loving toward my girls. He’s mesmerized me since the day he walked into my life. He is always opening my door, reaching for my hand, touching my skin, kissing me anywhere he can. He’s the first to jump up if he even thinks I’m needing or wanting something but haven’t said it. He takes care of everything from spiders to building shelves. He’s smart and passionate in everything he does, even vegging out on the couch. He’s my best friend because we love doing everything together, even if it’s nothing at all but just lying next to him. I cannot wait to be his wife and spend every day making sure he knows how much I appreciate and love him.
