Nick + Laura {Historic Pearl Engagement Photos}

Amy and Barry’s wedding was one of our favorites of 2016, we were super excited when Amy’s sister, Laura, contacted us to be a part of her big day. Nick and Laura compliment each other so well. I love the way Nick looks at Laura… their sweet banter made photographing them a breeze. We were lucky enough to get one of the few days recently where the sun decided to shine!

Get to know Nick and Laura a little better with their proposal story, as told by Laura:
Nicholas had the cutest proposal. I was planning a birthday dinner for my cousin and had been anticipating seeing him to celebrate with him. I love birthdays and my cousin’s birthday has always been special to me (He is like a second father to me). That night while we were getting ready to head out Nicholas told me he wanted us to take pictures and that he was going to dress nice. I was happy that he told me ahead of time so that I could dress appropriately and get all dolled up etc.
When we arrived at the restaurant my cousin and his wife were there and we all sat down. After the waiter came to take our drink orders Nicholas got up and asked my cousin to take a picture of us before all the drinks came. I stood up to get ready for the picture and that’s when Nicholas said to my cousin, “TK, do you have your phone ready? It’s time to bend the knee to my queen” (We are HUGE Game of Thrones fans) and that just tickled me! He then got on one knee and proposed to me. The rest is history ☺ I was so overjoyed and shocked.
