Our New Orleans Vacation!

If you have been following our blog for awhile, you may remember that we travel to New Orleans quite frequently. My mom has a rare form of cancer and her specialist is in New Orleans. Since Alain has been home, we have been talking about different cities we want to visit with him and New Orleans was at the top of the list. This trip was simply for fun…and it was amazing. After quite a bit of searching, I found the perfect apartment to rent that is walking distance to the French Quarter. We felt like locals. Maya was a great little traveler. We were a bit nervous about her on the trip, but she slept well in the car, got several great naps and did great at night too. It was great to have my mom there us to help out with Maya and to enjoy the city without any doctors appointments. Alain LOVED it. He is such an adventure seeking artsy guy. His favorite part was the street performers and artists in the Quarter. These two children are such blessings to us. I just cannot imagine our lives without them.
