melissa & austin’s day after session!

So a few days ago, we posted Melissa & Austin’s amazing wedding photos… now it’s time for their amaaazing day after session (or in their case, days BEFORE session). “What is a day after session?” you ask… well, it’s a wedding photography session that doesn’t happen on your actual wedding day. It can happen before or after your wedding (even though it’s called a “day after session,” it rarely happens the actual DAY after your wedding). It’s a fun session where you dress up in your wedding attire and run around to make some amazing images without the stress of your actual wedding day (there are no time constraints, location limitations, onlookers, etc.) We love love LOOOOOVE day after sessions. They allow so much freedom for creativity and just plain fun! :D

Melissa & Austin were married at the beautiful Bushnell here in San Antonio. It’s a gorgeous venue that gave Melissa & Austin lots of gorgeous photos. As beautiful as it is, there is nothing “urban” about it… and Melissa & Austin wanted “urban” wedding photos. Day after session to the rescue! Now they have the best of both worlds. Win/win!
