lyn + rygh {riven rock ranch wedding & reception, comfort tx}

I’m just going to start by saying… AHHH! I am EXCITED about these photos! True, I’m always excited to post a wedding… but Lyn & Rygh’s rustic, countryfied, small-Texas-town wedding makes my photographer heart beat a little faster. :-) Every detail of this wedding was perfectly tailored to fit Lyn & Rygh’s down-home style, and we’ll get to that soon!

But first, I can’t write a post about these two without mentioning how completely IN LOVE they are. They made such an impression on us… All day long, we were talking about how you can just SEE how much Rygh loves Lyn… the way he helped her walk through fields of tall grass during photos, how he helped carry her bouquet whenever she needed it, how he walked with his hand on the small of her back… (sigh) A beautiful country bride and a true southern gentleman… it really doesn’t get much better than that. :-) Here are our faves from their big day. Enjoy! :-)

PS – When you’re finished looking at their wedding photos, check out their engagement session here! It’s just as adorable :-)

Love this shot that Sada (our associate photographer) took of Rygh getting ready. PS – I want that bathroom to be in MY hosue! So cute!
How sweet is this?! Lyn had the back of Rygh’s tie embroidered with their wedding date and a special little message. And below, she embroidered a special wedding handkerchief for her dad to wear in his jacket pocket as he walked her down the aisle. *LOVE*
Rygh wasn’t the only southern gentleman at the party. :-) There were plenty of cowboy groomsmen with cowboy boots and cowboy hats!
A sweet prayer right before the ceremony started. This photo makes me smile. :-)
By the way, Lyn & Rygh’s wedding ceremony and wedding reception were held at the Riven Rock Ranch Resort in Comfort, Texas. This was our first time shooting this venue and we can’t WAIT to go back. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
Married! Mr. & Mrs. Rygh Fullagar!
Bride, groom, cowboy hat, cowboy boots and a red barn?! In south Texas, this is what wedding photographer dreams are made of. :-)
This sign was Rygh’s wedding gift to Lyn. :-)
Bridesmaids and groomsmen with cowboy boots and cowboy hats = already awesome.
Doubly awesome = the bridal party was willing to climb up onto this fence to make this shot perfect. Thanks, guys for being such great sports!
So… I kind of love these two shots. :-)
The best part of this shot (besides the bridesmaids wearing cowboy boots!) is the little flower girl, showing off her pink ones. :-)
As you’ve already seen, Lyn’s wedding day was full of details that were designed to celebrate the people that she and Rygh love most. I think this one is my favorite… Lyn carried a photo of her late grandmother on her bridal bouquet. Such a sweet way to celebrate her grandmother and to have her there for the wedding. :-)

Below: Kaylinn’s view of the same moment :-)
By the way, I have decided that Lyn looks like a Barbie doll. So gorgeous! :-)
Fun details, right? We think so too. :-) All of Lyn & Rygh’s wedding decor was designed by Tricia Hamil and her team over at Viridian Design. Tricia Hamil is the best in south Texas, in our humble opinions. :-) We love her so much, we even wrote a feature blog post about her a while back (check it out here). Viridian Design is a floral design AND event coordination studio. Basically, your one-stop-shop for flowers, decor design, and event coordination/planning. And their work is incredible. That’s all. :-)
Reception time! I love these two shots of Lyn & her dad during the father/daughter dance.
I couldn’t choose a favorite “ring shot,” so I’m including all three of them. Which is your favorite?
