Last weekend, Chris, his parents (Steve and Debby) and I went on a mini vacation in Rockport. Since Chris was a child, his family has been going there and his mom’s family took her there when she was a child. I guess you can say it is tradition. Debby has been eying one particular set of bungalows (Fulton Beach Bungalows) for years, so we decided that we would take her there. It was the best weekend I’ve had in a long time.
On the way home Debby said, “There aren’t many things in life that live up to your expectations, but this weekend at the bungalows exceeded my expectations.” How awesome is that?! And so true. It really was the perfect rest that we all needed and a great way to end this ridiculously hot summer. Of course my camera made the trip with us. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the vacation.

Our home away from home. Isn’t it adorable?

Oh vacation…working in his beater! All his favortite things are in this photo: Macbook Pro, Blackberry and sunglasses.
They are still working on this bungalow. I totally want to stay in it when it is finished.
Debby and Steve are planning on going back for their anniversary. She wants to stay in the yellow one.
There were over 20 cats on the property. All colors, shapes and sizes. We couldn’t help but share our milk with a few of them.
CoCo was my favorite. So fluffy and crazy awesome blue eyes. I wanted to steal her and bring her home!!
I hardly ever get to be in the picture, so I set up the camera self timer and ran!
When I said “Baby! Look at me!” this is what he gave me. I LOVE it!! So funny! Thinking of making it my desktop wallpaper.

A Passion Vine. Chris’ favorite flower. The details are amazing!
I’m a lucky girl to have married into such a happy family.

Steve is getting pretty good with my camera :)
For this photo, I got my shorts completely drenched while I squatted down to get the sun in just the perfect spot. It was worth it.
Way to go baby! Chris took photos while I fed the seagulls.
