Kelly + Ryan {Southwest School of Art Wedding & Reception, San Antonio TX}

Kelly + Ryan are one of those couples that make us love our job even more than we already do. We had so much fun photographing these two (and hanging out with their family and friends!) Their wedding fell right in the middle of our busy wedding season (Random wedding fact: Wedding season in Texas comes twice a year — March-April & September-October). Fall weddings are our jam, you guys! We’ve been loving the back-to-back weddings with perfect weather and awesome couples… couples like Kelly + Ryan. :)

Their wedding ceremony and wedding reception were held at the Southwest School of Art in downtown San Antonio. If you’re a long-time blog reader, you know that we LOVE shooting at the Southwest School of Art. It’s easily one of our all time favorite wedding venues… it’s in the heart of downtown, on the San Antonio river, and it’s absolutely gorgeous (you’ll see!) Pamela Rodriguez of Weddings and Events by Pamela always does an amazing job, and this wedding was no different (We heart you, Pamela!)

Kelly + Ryan wanted to head straight to their reception after the ceremony (instead of spending lots of time taking photos!), so they decided to see each other beforehand. This way, we were able to take plenty of bride/groom and wedding party photos AND they didn’t miss one minute of their reception. Win/win!
