Kelly + Paul {Hotel Emma Wedding Ceremony & Wedding Photos, Jazz TX Wedding Reception, San Antonio TX}

Kelly + Paul’s wedding day was more than the joining of two people, it was the beginning of a family. Paul has two sons and Kelly has 3 daughters… kinda like the Brady bunch. :) The kids were involved in every part of the day and added an extra bit of joy to an already exciting time. The kids were on full-blown wedding duty! Their jobs included being the bridesmaids, flower girl, best man, ring bearer, bride-dress buttoner, groom-sleeve fastener… you name it!

When a bride gets ready, it’s always one of my favorite parts of the day. It’s filled with nerves and excitement. The time before the ceremony gives me a chance to get to know the personalities of the couple’s family and friends. Kelly’s girls had so much fun being primped and pampered while their hair and makeup was being done. Their room was filled with music and laughter as all of the girls prepared for the wedding ceremony in the gorgeous courtyard at Hotel Emma (ooooh, how we LOVE Hotel Emma weddings!)

There were a couple of minor glitches for Paul as he was getting ready, including his missing bow tie and a cut finger while he was trimming roses for the reception. As we were waiting, I could tell that Kelly was getting anxious. She was ready to see her man!!! But all of the stress and anxiety melted away instantly when she saw Paul. They instantly relaxed and forgot all about the little hiccups from earlier in the day (see photos of their emotional first look below!)

After their intimate wedding ceremony at Hotel Emma, we walked over to Jazz TX for dinner and dancing. Jazz was one of the first places Paul took Kelly when they started dating, which made it a perfect spot for their reception. The entire day was full of love, laughter, and emotion. My cheeks literally hurt from smiling all day!
