My Family Portraits!

I’m most comfortable with a camera in my hands, but I also LOVE having photos of our family. These images were taken by our wedding photographer, Sarah Q. Having images that capture our relationships and our children as they grow and change is so special. Since my Mom passed away last summer, I have an even deeper appreciation for the heirlooms that photos are. I can’t wait to print these up BIG in our new home. Here are some of my favorites from our family photo session.

Chris is my rock. My best friend. Anytime the world feels like too much, he centers me. Marriage keeps getting better, as we go through different stages. Watching him be a father has made me fall in love all over again.

My babies, who aren’t really babies anymore. I love watching their relationship grow. Maya looks up to Alain and he is the sweetest big brother. Her face lights up when he comes home.
This girl. She is my sidekick. She is every bit the sweetness and life that you see in these images. She keeps us on our toes. I love watching her imagination blossom and her personality form each new day. I’m already sad thinking about her starting kindergarten next year.

Alain. I adore him. He is seriously THE coolest person I know. We are so proud of the man he is becoming. He exudes joy. He is always pushing himself creatively and academically. The future is big for my dreamer son.
