Happy Friday, everybody! Maya started kindergarten two weeks ago and it is rocking our world. I haven’t set a daily alarm since I was in school, so this whole wake up at 6:30 thing cramps my style a bit.
At the end of week one, I was informed that being “right on time” is considered being tardy, and tardy parents must walk their children to the office. Best believe we are in the carpool line early every morning because this Momma wears her PJs until the afternoon (I’m not walking into the office before I’ve showered!)
Kindergarten has given me new appreciation for Fridays. It has officially become our family movie night! Maya takes a nap after school so we can stay up late and snuggle on the couch.
