Emily + Rorey {San Antonio Engagement Photography}

Fall is now in full force, filling my evenings with gorgeous light and beeeeautiful people. I think the sunsets have an extra bit of magic in the fall.

I love Emily and Rorey’s story. When Emily moved to San Antonio, she didn’t know that she was moving a few blocks from her future husband. They seemed to run into each other everywhere. They worked out at the same gym, ate at the same restaurants, shopped at the same HEB. Emily quickly noticed this handsome stranger, but he seemed oblivious. One day, they ran into each other once again at the water fountain in the gym and started talking. Emily can’t remember what was said, but she does remember his super thick Texas drawl (which Emily later found out was super exaggerated. Ha!) Eventually Rorey asked her out, but she said no. A year later when Emily decided to ask Rorey out, he said no! It took Emily moving to Houston for them to realize they couldn’t be without each other.

It was a joy to capture their love. Emily’s smile is contagious and it was easy to see that Rorey adores her. Here are my favorites from their engagement session. I can’t wait for their big day in the spring.

I’m obsessed with the detailing on Emily’s shirt. A little behind the scenes note. Nordstrom lost Emily’s order, so she had to do a quick shopping trip the day before the session. Those are some shopping skills. :)
