Can I gush about my sweet man for a minute? When we chose each other, we had no idea how perfect we actually were for each other. I knew that I loved him. I knew he was kind, loving, and handy… but the list of what I didn’t know was far longer than what I did.
In the 10 years we’ve been together, more has changed than has stayed the same, but with each new season, we learn something new about ourselves individually and as a couple. In the midst of every challenge, I find myself thankful that the younger me, who knew NOTHING, somehow knew enough to pick him.
Some days we are together from the moment I walk down the stairs in my PJs to our shared office until we plop on the couch to watch the latest episode of ‘This is Us.’ Other days, we see each other in passing, with a simultaneous hello and goodbye, as we juggle 2 jobs, 3 children, and never-ending home projects.
I have some amazing friends in my life, but this guy…He is my person. -Jenn
