It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! ❤️🎄 ❤️🎄
Yesterday, we drove out to Pipe Creek to cut down our tree. Today was spent decking the halls while jamming out to the Christmas Rappin’ Radio. This is our first holiday season in our new home, so extra time was spent finding the perfect spot for each decoration. As each item was unboxed, memories of holidays past flood through my mind, memories of my Mom and my babies when they were actually babies. I’m looking forward to all the new memories we will make this year.
When we bought our house around this time last year, I was dreaming of filling the rooms with lots of friends and all the fabulous holiday things. Full disclosure: I was also dreaming about photos (for Instagram) taken in my new living room with natural light pouring in from the the huge windows. I have come to realize the downside too (Where do you put the furniture?), but I still love every window and all the sunshine. -Jenn
