andrea & ken {club at sonterra wedding and reception}

Andrea & Ken hold a special place in our heart. You may remember Kira & Anthony’s wedding and Erica & Richie’s wedding from last year… both of these couples are friends of Andrea & Ken’s. It means so much when friends of our past brides & grooms choose us to shoot their wedding. I get warm fuzzies everytime a new bride calls and says “I loved my friend’s photos and want you to take mine.” Well Andrea & Ken, here are yours.  Enjoy. :-)

The series of photos above is from Andrea & Ken’s first look. They chose to see each other before the ceremony so that most of their photos could be taken beforehand. I loved the look on Ken’s face the first time he saw Andrea… He probably said “Wow, you look so beautiful” about 10 times. :-)  Andrea kept taking deep breaths and saying “Now that I’ve seen you, I feel soooo much better.” Yesss!! First looks are major nerve-calmer-downers! :-D
During their first look, Ken surprised Andrea with two bracelets. One was solid gold and the other had pearls on it (He wanted to give her a choice of which one to wear!) Ken, you are the sweetest. :-)
I love this! Andrea’s bridesmaids were watching the entire first look from a window. :-)
We looooved Andrea’s color combo (our entire website happens to be turquoise and orange!) I love how these colors pop in the photos. And check out Andrea’s flowers – a colorful spin on the traditional white bridal bouquet. Yes, please! Ceremony time! Andrea & Ken’s wedding ceremony and reception were held at San Antonio’s Club at Sonterra. Check out those massive trees that shaded the ceremony site – sooo pretty!
