While we love shooting wedding in the city, there is just something so charming about a Texas country wedding. Amber and Doug got married in a beautiful church in Boerne, with the reception at Ye Kendall Inn. It was a crazy weather day, with threatening clouds hovering over us, but Amber was so sweet and easy going. We made it work, got all the outside photos we wanted and by the end of the day they were husband and wife! Here are our favorites from the day.

Check out the next two images. How cute is it that we both got a similiar picture of Amber and Doug putting on their shoes? And even cooler, they were taken at 2 different locations at the exact same time. :)

I love wedding dresses that lace up :)
I LOVE these two! Amber and I were so excited that we got a few outdoor bridal shots. When we shot her bridal session a few weeks ago, it was pouring down rain, so we were stuck inside :( Now she has a little of both!! Yay!

Yay for pops of color. The yellow bridesmaids bouquets were amazing!! This is one of my all time fav bridesmaids images.
The handsome men in the courtyard of the beautiful church.

Married!!! My favorite part of the day!! Isn’t Amber adorable?!

After the ceremony, the thunder was ROARING!! We hurried out to the courtyard for a 5 minute bride/groom portrait session. This was one of those times when having two photographers comes in really handy :) We worked it out paparazzi style and here are the results. What do you think, not bad for 5 minutes?

Amber, you are gorgeous.

Their first dance.
Amber made activity books for the reception. Great for keeping the kiddos occupied and awesome for ring shots!

Congratulations Amber and Doug!! Thanks for having us as part of your day :)
